Kristina Hathaway, Owner/Publisher
Kristina moved to Boston after graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 1997. She held various sales and marketing positions for companies such as The Boston Company Asset Management and Addison Wesley Publishing. While working full-time, Kristina earned a Certificate in Graphic Design and Web Site Development from Clark University and went on to earn her Masters in Business from Northeastern University.
Growing up in a family business proved to be a training ground that would give Kristina the confidence to run her own busienss. Despite the hard work and risks that go along with it, Kristina sought a business to own that would match her interests and skills. She was immediately drawn to New Hampshire Wedding Magazine because she was able to bring her corporate work experience, creative talents and educational training to an established business with promising potential.
While she had a great time at her wedding, Kristina knows how difficult it is to plan one. As with most brides, there are some things she would have done differently. Kristina's ultimate goal is to build a community of brides and wedding professionals so brides can make more educated decisions regarding their wedding. A happy bride means a happy wedding!
Carol Corbett, Online Editor
Carol Corbett is a freelance writer who lives in Farmington, NH. Her September 2008 wedding taught her a lot about planning the event of a lifetime. Publicist by day, wedding planner by night, she crammed several activities into each day. From stress-filled meetings to dream-worthy moments, she treasured every minute and shared everything with a close friend who got married the day before. Weddings are about love and friendship, whether it’s yours or someone else’s, and Carol hopes to share what she’s learned with brides everywhere so that they too can have a joyous day after a fun-filled year (or more) of planning.
