The Derryfield Inn in Manchester was the ideal location for Tara and Jeff's wedding because it was halfway between their two families; Jeff grew up in Kingston while Nashua is Tara's hometown. They loved that the function room was bright and would accomodate all their guests. The couple also enjoyed working with the event coordinator who made them feel comfortable with their selections. Both Jeff and his brother are cancer survivors, so the couple made a donation to the LIVESTRONG foundation. The foundation in turn sent back cards, which the the couple personalized with their picture and placed at each guest's setting to inform them about the donation. The wedding took place on the anniversary of Jeff's grandparents first blind date! They had been married 50 years, a good omen for the couple's new future together.
