In keeping with the homey feel of grandma’s kitchen, wrap your guests in that classic grace with warm peach and orange tones. Antique (or antique-looking) doilies provide an elegant base for a bud vase. Using mismatched, but similar pieces on each table will give your settings a quirky charm. Vintage white, ceramic vases (ones with a bumpy texture are especially pretty) need not be the same height, width, or size, so long as their style coordinates. The same goes for the underlying doilies, mix it up for a homespun feel. Use small frames or pressed-flower cards for table numbers and hand-stamp your invitations. A subtle black and white theme running through the orange hues will give you a modern pop.
